Designing Experiences that Stick

Everything your organization does – from the services you provide to the processes you use – affects how people remember your organization. No matter what your job, you play a critical part in creating experiences that engage your community.  How can you adapt and design that experience so it deepens customer loyalty and appeals to new audiences?  How can you generate and evaluate new ideas? How can you build support and momentum so you can effectively execute new ideas?

Faculty

How you will benefit

This session will introduce you to the process and practices of outstanding product and service development. By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Analyze how your organization’s services and processes contribute to the overall experience
  • Generate new ideas that you, your department and organization can use to improve the audience’s experience
  • Develop a process that builds support so new ideas can be effectively implemented

What to expect

This engaging session will use classroom discussion, debate and design simulations to create an interactive learning experience. Fellows can expect the classroom experience they would find in an executive-level session at any of the country’s top business schools.

Who should attend

The Future Leadership program is designed to help the next wave of arts and culture professionals develop the skills they will need to excel in top management positions in the next five to seven years. This event is appropriate for:

  • Mid-career professionals, with 5-15 years of experience in the field interested in advancing to the next level of leadership
  • Professionals who have just come into a leadership role in a smaller organization and are interested in pursuing additional formalized training
  • Professionals working their way up through larger institutions interested in understanding the politics and paths of advancement and in expanding their professional networks
